Hello, I am Hyoungchae Moon, who is leading the personnel and general affairs of Coreline Soft.
As we wrap up 2024 and welcome 2025, I look back on the year-end party held on the last Friday of December and reflect on the meaningful time I had with all of you. In this article, I would like to share the process of preparing for the year-end party, my thoughts as I wrap up the year, and my plans for the upcoming New Year.
Things I learned from the year-end party: #Sharing #On-time-progress
The key words for this year-end party can be summarized as 'sharing' and 'on-time progress'. Since the company went public, we have been aware of the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and have been thinking about ways to put it into practice. As a result, the donation auction, which was held with items donated by our members, ended in great success. On the day of the year-end party, the PlayStation, whiskey, and laptops that were auctioned received more interest than expected, and we were able to raise valuable donations through this.
The donations raised were delivered to the Holt Children's Services, and thanks to the participation and response of many people, this activity was even more meaningful.

In addition, for the smooth running of the event, we introduced a new system that limits the time for department heads to present their business plans to 10 minutes. In particular, we applied the so-called “Ultraman Rule” to manage time efficiently. Just as Ultraman is limited in how long he can transform, we introduced a control method that clearly informs the end time of the presentation through visual reminders and minimizes time overruns.
Thanks to the active cooperation of the department heads, the presentations went as planned, and the awards ceremony and dinner that followed were also completed without a hitch. In addition, if the presentation time was exceeded, the set penalty was converted into a donation, which was used in a meaningful way to contribute to CSR activities.
I would like to take this opportunity to once again express my deep gratitude to the department heads for their active participation.

Memorable moments of the year: The office relocation operation
Looking back on this year, I think the most memorable thing was definitely the office move. The office, which was previously divided into the Sungmyung Building and the JC Donggyo Building, had to find a new home due to the expiration of its contract. It was not an easy task to find a place that would meet all of the requirements: a centralized office where members could gather in one space, commuting accessibility, and reasonable rental costs.
A miraculous encounter with a new space As the search for a new office space deepened, we received an unexpected call from a local real estate agent we had contacted before. It was a moment when a property that perfectly met all our requirements appeared as if by a miracle.
- Behind the Scenes 1
In advance, some local real estate agents had told us that there were no properties in the area that could accommodate more than 100 people in one building. So, we had been discussing the matter of moving with a large, specialized rental company, thinking that we should expand the scope of the area. We had not expected that we would suddenly receive a call from a local real estate agent.
- Behind the Scenes 2
Before we signed the contract, another entertainment agency had pre-contracted the building in Seogyo-dong, but the contract fell through because they missed the deadline for paying the remaining balance. After that, we, who were in the back seat, were chosen and proceeded to sign the contract with us.
Even if we consider it as a case of good luck, was this building not meant to be with us? After that, we went through the process of changing the business site, manufacturing site certification issues, interior construction work, etc. and finally settled in at the Seogyo-dong office at the end of September. The joy of that moment is indescribable and remains one of the most satisfying things I have done this year.
Year-end thoughts and plans for 2025
2024 was a year that passed by especially quickly. It seems like only yesterday that the year began, but now it's already January 2025, and I realize how quickly time has passed. This means that it was a year in which everyone worked hard. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for your hard work throughout the year.
The Beginning of 2025: Supporting Growth with Better Performance Evaluation
As we take the first step into 2025, we will also be entering the 2024 performance evaluation season. In this year's performance review, we have introduced a new HR platform to enhance security and improve the management of performance reviews.
- Introduction of customized evaluation items:
We attempt to make more sophisticated evaluations by setting differentiated evaluation items by department, job, and position. Implementation of upward leadership evaluation: We have introduced an upward leadership evaluation so that feedback from members can contribute to leadership development and improvement of organizational culture.
-
Goal:
We want to focus on providing the right feedback to our members and creating opportunities for growth and development based on that, rather than just ending the evaluation with the results.

2025 Pledge: Creating an environment for growth and achievement
The HR and general affairs teams plan to do their best to create an environment where all members can feel a sense of growth and accomplishment in their home base of CoreLineSoft in 2025. There are still many areas that need improvement, but we will continue to work hard to better meet the needs of our members.
I look forward to making 2025 a happier and more rewarding year together.
