“Building an AI-Driven National Model for Lung Cancer Screening: Insights from Australia’s First 3 Months”
Coreline Soft announced that it will co-host an international webinar on October 14, 2025 (Monday), highlighting the early implementation experience of Australia’s National Lung Cancer Screening Program (NLCSP). The event, titled “
Building a National Model for Lung Cancer Screening in Australia,” is jointly organized by Lungscreen Australia, Paragon Care, and Coreline Soft.
Australia officially launched its NLCSP on July 1, 2025. As the program reaches its third month, this webinar will serve as a forum to review early operational insights. Rather than focusing solely on AI adoption, the discussion will explore how a national-scale screening model functions in practice and how AI-based technologies may contribute to improved diagnostic consistency and workflow efficiency in real-world settings.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Siavash Es’haghi, CEO and Medical Director of Lungscreen Australia, has played a leading role in establishing virtual clinic networks and a centralized reading system, aimed at improving equity and accessibility in medical services across regions. From Coreline Soft, Dr. Jaeyeon Lee, Co-Founder and CTO, will present on how the company’s AI solutions are being integrated into national-level lung screening workflows in compliance with local clinical and regulatory frameworks.
Australia’s NLCSP extends beyond low-dose CT scanning to include smoking cessation counseling, patient risk assessment, and longitudinal follow-up, representing a comprehensive approach to early lung cancer detection. Consequently, the program seeks to enhance diagnostic accuracy, clinical productivity, and patient communication—areas where AI-based tools are increasingly viewed as valuable enablers.
Coreline Soft has demonstrated measurable outcomes in improving diagnostic performance and operational efficiency across large-scale lung health programs such as 4ITLR (Europe), RISP (Italy), and HANSE (Germany). Following the success of the HANSE initiative, Germany has formally recommended the use of AI tools as part of its first-read screening workflow, and similar discussions are gaining attention across other European countries, including France.
Coreline Soft will also participate in the
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) Annual Scientific Meeting, taking place from October 23 to 25, 2025, where it will engage with local radiologists and healthcare professionals at Paragon Care’s exhibition booth to provide product information and clinical consultations.
Additionally, Coreline Soft has launched a dedicated
online information page for Australian medical professionals on its official website, offering resources on AI-enabled screening workflows and implementation guidance in line with local healthcare regulations.
