Medical AI company Coreline Soft (CEO: JinKook Kim) announced on September 4 that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Sol Radiology, Inc. in California, USA. Sol Radiology covers 18 insurers, including public programs such as Medicare and Tricare, and operates two outpatient imaging centers in the High Desert region of California. The company also partners clinically with Choice Urgent Care, an emergency care facility under Choice Medical Group, serving as a key gateway for outpatient CT demand in the region.

In the U.S. healthcare system, outpatient imaging centers play a critical role by offering cost-efficient CT services compared to hospitals, while referral networks from primary care physicians (PCPs) and reimbursement authorization processes are pivotal for their operation and growth. This collaboration aims to integrate AI-based low-dose CT (LDCT) screening technology into the outpatient clinical structure—validating the value of AI across the entire diagnostic pathway, from referral inflow and result delivery to reimbursement linkage.

Dr. Rahul Nayyar, CEO of Sol Radiology and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Choice Medical Group, was recently elected President of the San Bernardino County Medical Society (SBCMS), which has about 1,700 physician members. Through Dr. Nayyar’s clinical network, this agreement is expected to provide Coreline Soft with a strategic opportunity to expand and promote its AI-based LDCT screening model with real-world case adoption among medical professionals.

Coreline Soft CEO JinKook Kim commented:
“This partnership is a real-world model that simultaneously validates reimbursement, referral, and on-site workflow. Together with Sol Radiology, we will co-develop on-site tailored AI solutions to accelerate both clinical impact and commercialization in North America.”

Coreline Soft, with its FDA 510(k)-cleared AI platform for simultaneous chest disease diagnosis, has been expanding its global footprint through strategic collaborations with Microsoft, Temple Health, 3DR Labs, and others. Recently, the company entered the U.S. reimbursement market in partnership with Oatmeal Health, leveraging its pioneering technology in lung cancer malignancy prediction. The new collaboration with Sol Radiology marks a strategic turning point in Coreline’s U.S. expansion—aimed at generating real-world data in the operational environment of lung cancer screening and demonstrating the health economic value of AI diagnostics.
