Summary

Advances in artificial intelligence (AI), including deep learning, have significantly impacted medical imaging, leading to the development and commercialization of various AI algorithms for chest imaging. In this field, AI can be applied for initial evaluation, detection and diagnosis, quantitative assessment, monitoring, and decision support. The authors of this paper depicted several AI functions of AVIEW from Coreline Soft as good examples. However, some obstacles must be addressed for successful implementation. Familiarizing oneself with the current status, potential applications, and challenges of AI in chest imaging is essential for radiologists and clinicians in this evolving era.
